The impact of the technological revolution on reality and its consequences for employees and employers was the subject of a panel discussion with representatives of companies creating the best workplace well-being culture in Poland. Read more HERE.

According to the Polish edition of the international Humanites survey: “Well-working – Family Responsibility of Business 2022. ” only 20% of employees see their boss as a role model. In contrast, as many as 93% of respondents feel pressure to prioritize their work life over their private life. In contrast, this year’s Gallup Report indicates that the phenomenon of “quiet quitting” affects as many as 59% of employees worldwide.

Faced with these figures, in the intractable situation of the global economic crisis, international business has a mission to accomplish. It won’t be up to the challenge unless it makes a big turn toward humanity. Amid the numerous problems, however, will business not be tempted to bet on profit at the expense of workers’ subjectivity? Humanites has for years been urging companies for such development strategies, according to which business will realize its goals and the people employed will find a sense of meaning.

The aforementioned challenges are also recognized by EU lawmakers. Due to legislative changes, more Polish companies will soon be required to report their ESG activities, and the middle component “S” (social) is what Humanites is responding to. Also addressing these issues is the Humanites Institute’s conference “Two Hours for Family | for Humanity – the fight for talent and employee well-being in the age of AI.”

The new ESG regulations that will cover more and more companies in the coming years place a very strong emphasis on corporate responsibility. More and more companies are recognizing this and building on it in terms of investors. For the latter, a company’s consistency in ESG philosophy is increasingly becoming an important decision-making criterion. – Zofia Dzik, president of the Humanites Institute, said.
